Speeches
The Governor and Deputy Governors give speeches and make presentations, primarily in open forums.
The speeches are not a channel for news, but are a way to explain and elaborate on the Bank's policy decisions or its advice to other government bodies. Their primary purpose is to disseminate knowledge about the Norges Bank's core activities and its management of the Government Pension Fund Global.
A number of the speeches discuss and elaborate on key aspects of the Bank's activities, in such areas as monetary policy, financial stability and the payment system.
