Nordic Countries Foreign Exchange Committee

About the committee

The Nordic Countries Foreign Exchange Committee (NCFXC) is a forum for regular discussion of relevant issues concerning the functioning of the Nordic foreign exchange (FX) market. The committee is a local FX Committee under the Global FX Committee (GFXC), which is responsible for promoting, maintaining and updating the FX Global Code.

The NCFXC is composed of representatives from Sveriges Riksbank, Danmarks Nationalbank, Sedlabanki Islands, Suomen Pankki, Norges Bank and market participants having a prominent role in the Nordic FX market. The Committee meets at least twice a year.

When Sedlabanki Islands and Suomen Pankki became full members of the committee in December 2024, the name was changed from the Scandinavian FX Committee to the Nordic Countries FX Committee.
